In Case you Missed It...Obama's Acceptance Speech

"Who am I For?" Essay

For a large quiz grade...30 points...(a change from what I said in 3rd Period)...you will write a 1-2 page essay discussing for which Presidential Candidate you are supporting, John McCain or Barack Obama. To receive full credit, follow the guidelines below:

1. Read and Highlight the Presidential Election Packet that I gave you in class to refresh yourself on the most important issues of this election.
2. In class, outline the essay...showing who you are supporting and 3 solid reasons why you are supporting this candidate. A 3-3-11 essay might be most appropriate.
3. At home, type your essay. You should write this essay as you would an English essay.
4. Make sure that you fully discuss your reasoning behind your support. If you are unsure, say so. Discuss what you like about a candidate and not like. However, in the end make sure that discuss which candidate that you are leaning towards and why.
5. For Extra Credit...Copy and Paste the text of your essay into the Comments section of this post.
